Corporate Diagnostics

By applying diagnostics we enable corporations to have an accurate assessment of the employees' stress level, satisfaction level and level of engagement with the company. Diagnostics help the design of appropriate workshops to meet the particular needs of the corporation. They are also invaluable tools for effective management of corporate on-site clinics.

Our diagnostic tools are developed through seventeen years of research by The Canadian Institute of Stress, and its corporate division, Vital Corporation. The Institute is the world's premiere research center in the areas of stress, wellness and vitality.

The employer will receive a report showing the aggregate results of all employees. This roll-out report is called  CorporateVitalSignsPro . It focuses on employees'  personal vitality, lifestyle vitality, engagement with work and work environment factors for all employees as well as employees of each division, section or department.  Making Change Successful (MCS)

A major proportion of work related stress, dissatisfaction and disengagement is caused by inevitable changes in the workplace. These comprehensive and powerful course/workshops are designed not only to help employees with their stress levels but also to channel and direct their stress energy to achieve satisfaction and personal success in their work leading to higher engagement with their workplace. The areas we address include but are not limited to:

·          Make sense of change, uncertainty and stress.

·          Recognize and accept that feelings of increased stress are normal responses, shared by everyone when facing changes in workplace or in personal life.

·          Understand and manage and control their work and home stressors on an on-going basis.  

·          Manage rapid changes at work by becoming "change winners" rather than "change victims". 

·          Know how to make their feelings and self concept positive by taking self affirming actions. 

·          Accept that the "good old days" of the old workplace (a) are largely gone, and (b) wouldn't work very well in today's conditions anyway.

·          Manage "worry" and "negative feelings".  

·          Be informed, skeptical consumers of workplace rumors.

·          Understand the importance of work satisfaction and how it directly relates to their health and vitality.  

·          Recognize that most people (a) are not aware, in actionably concrete terms, of what gives them satisfaction at work and, therefore, (b) miss a great deal of work satisfaction that is potentially available to them (via self-satisfaction).

·          Know in specific terms (a) what gives them, as a unique person, satisfaction in their day-to-day work experience (their work "satisfiers"), (b) how much control they personally have over experiencing their unique work satisfiers, and (c) what actions they can confidently take to increase their daily satisfaction at work.

·          Draw their own "self-portrait" of their ideal wellness shape and find their own steps to get there.  

·          Figure how they are doing in their overall state of wellness including their body, mind, emotions, family relationships, society relationships work and finances.

·          Learn simple and practical relaxation techniques.

·          Recognize that their likelihood of getting more satisfaction at work can be further increased to the extent they can count on the support of their co-workers, managers, and team.

·          Recognize they each have specific, personally unique strengths, (some of) which are valued and depended upon by co-workers and managers.

·          Find "win-win" team solutions to the work problems.  

·          Understand the strengths they bring to their work.

·          Learn "win-win" communications. 

·          Commit to action. 

MCS workshops are tailored to organization's requirement and are available in one-day, one-and-a half day, two-day and two-and -a half-day durations.

 

MCS follow-up workshops

These highly interactive courses re-enforce previous MCS workshops, identify areas where further improvement efforts are needed, and build on successes of prior workshops and action plans. Follow-up workshops are typically conducted at three to six month intervals or as needed. They are presented as either a single half-day session, or multiple half-day sessions for corporations with several large employee divisions.

Your Path from Stress to Vitality 

This one-day workshop is designed to train participants how to re-direct their stress energy and their life habits to attain health, wellness & vitality, increase personal and work satisfaction and reduce their physiological age. 

The course is highly effective for all levels of employees, managers and directors. Participants in this workshop will:

  • Perform a personal "Stress Test" exercise (called VQ or Vitality Quotient) and discover their own stress types and stress levels , along with "prescriptions" for each tress type.
  • Understand how "Stress Energy" works and how to use it to their benefit.
  • Learn the Vitality formula;  the relationship between Stress, Satisfaction and Vitality.
  • Perform  "The Five Pillars of Wellness" exercise to determine their personal wellness balance across: 1-Body health. 2- Mind & emotional health. 3-  Family and friends relatioships. 4-  Social relationships. 5- Work relationships & finances.
  • Perform the "Self-portrait"  exercise and discover the practical steps they need to take to achieve their ideal best.
  • Learn to manage "worry" and "Negative feelings".
  • Learn how to be "Change Winners" rather than " Change Victims".
  • Discover simple "Healthy Eating" secrets.
  • Learn a very practical relaxation technique (Autogenic Relaxation)
  • Perform the "Clarifying Satisfiers at Work" exercise and discover how to use their work satisfiers to achieve higher levels of vitality.
